I often worried about my daughter Isabel’s Math skills because she often struggled with this subject. It turned out that she didn’t relax when it was me who was teaching her (I could be very strict at times). I was so wrong because Isabel recently came home with her Math Pre-Quarterly test paper and she actually got a perfect score! That’s 60 out of 60.
I repent that I even doubted that she could do it. Nonetheless, I am so proud of her for trying her best to excel. Her daddy even promised her that if she would repeat this on her Quarterly exam, that we would have a special gift for her (now I’m racking my brains on what that special gift would be!).
Congratulations, Isabel. I love you, baby!
My younger sister, Lorraine, texted me about an hour ago telling me about her own daughter’s recent achievement. She was so proud of Sereene (that’s my intelligent niece there) who recently won Second Place for a certain contest held at their school. This contest was sponsored by Star Margarine and I’m proud to say that she went home with PhP 2,000 (of course, that’s quite a lot for a young girl). My sister said Sereene gave one-half of her winnings to her teacher (the teacher accepted my niece’s offer–hmmmm, calling DEP ED). Also, she gave a grand treat to her closest friends in school and there goes her winnings–poof! I was informed that she just [really] pocketed PhP700.
Well at least my niece showed some genuine generosity there. Congratulations, Sereene!

For daughter’s gift, what does she like? It shows how hard she tries by the way she stands so perfect in the picture.
I stopped because of your words about her; was surprised to read that you are an author. Me too – unpublished also.
But I do POD. All the best to you.
