It’s been a few days since I made the announcement that an e-book would soon be made available for all adoring fans of Julie Vega. My friend Niño has yet to ask the permission of Julie’s brother. Mrs. Perla Postigo (Julie Vega’s mom) has already agreed yet the final say has to come from one of Julie’s brothers. And so we’re crossing our fingers that the project would soon push through. There are just so many things to do here’s a possible itinerary for Niño and I:
- Talk to Kuya Joseph Postigo and Julie Hernandez (Julie’s fan back in the 80’s)
- Go to CCP to locate rare Julie Vega posters and pictures
- Brainstorm and create a layout for the e-book
- Choose photographs that will be included on the e-book
- Read articles and view videos
- Lots more…
It’s amazing how many people have presented themselves and volunteered their talents for the creation of Julie Vega’s biography. I can feel that there are still a lot of people out there who miss the soap opera princess. It is my prayer that my talent, along with the dedication of my good friend Niño, and the Postigo family’s blessing should be the strong foundation of a book that will tell about Julie Vega’s story (in a non-cinematic way).
For now, let’s just wait…
